Exfoliate the day before your tan, and shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand. Arrive with clean, dry skin, with no moisturiser, deodorant or perfume.

Bring loose, dark clothing to wear home and a blending brush for any finishing touches.

Don’t want your face tanned? Pull an extra hair net down over your face before your tan starts, and apply a light moisturiser to your face beforehand as a barrier.

Our colour quiz will help you find the right shade. It’s a guide only, as your result also depends on your skin prep, rinse time and aftercare.

Still unsure? Start with 7: Oceania Rapid, Medium, with Perfector. You rinse after 1–3 hours and it’s in both rooms. For an evening tan you sleep in, try 19: Golden Hour, Medium, with Perfector, in Room 1. You’ll find every number on our tan menu.

It depends on your solution. Oceania Rapid is rinsed after 1–3 hours, so it isn’t suitable to sleep in. Seaspray Clear, Golden Hour and Sunseeker are rinsed after 6–8 hours, so they’re ideal overnight. Rinse your hands and face 30 minutes after your tan.

Your rinse time is when you can shower, not when your tan is finished. Your colour keeps developing for 12–24 hours, so wait a full 24 hours before judging it.

Most of our solutions include a guide colour, a cosmetic bronzer that shows where your tan has been applied. It washes off at your first rinse, so it’s normal to look lighter straight after your shower. Your real colour is developing in your skin over 12–24 hours.

Seaspray Clear has no guide colour, so you won’t see any colour when you leave the booth. Your tan appears gradually, with no transfer onto clothes or sheets.

We recommend tanning 1-2 days before your event, so your colour has time to fully develop. For a Saturday event, a Thursday tan is perfect. For a wedding or other important event, book a trial tan beforehand so you can choose the colour you love.

Tanning for a holiday? Book your tan the day you leave or the day before. This gives you the most time with your colour while you’re away.

Please wait a full 24 hours before judging your colour or adding another tan, including self-tan at home. Your tan is still developing during this time, and layering too soon can leave your colour patchy or uneven.

Each studio has private tanning rooms, but no bathrooms or showers, so please complete your pre-tan prep at home.

Unfortunately our studios aren’t wheelchair accessible, as there are steps into the building and up to the tanning booths.

Partners, parents and friends are welcome to wait in the studio, but they can’t come into your tanning room without our permission. If you need to bring your children, they must stay in the room with you and be closely supervised at all times.

Automated tanning means your spray tan is applied by a booth instead of a person. In your own private room, you step into the booth and it sprays an even mist of tanning solution over your body in about five minutes. Your whole appointment is 20 minutes, giving you time to prepare and get dressed. Simply follow the step-by-step guide on the wall.

Your tan isn’t instant. Most of our solutions (all except Seaspray Clear) include a guide colour that washes off at your first rinse, and your real colour develops over 12–24 hours. We’ll email you aftercare tips after your appointment.

Each room has a hair net, a disposable G-string, sticky feet, barrier cream and wipes, plus a simple step-by-step guide on the wall.

Perfector is a primer applied just before your tan to prep your skin for an even result. It’s optional, and free to add to any spray tan. Tanning weekly? You may prefer to skip it, as some clients find their tan comes off more easily with Perfector.

No keys or cards needed. When you arrive, open the app and tap Check In. Check-in opens 10 minutes before your booking, and your tanning room opens 2 minutes before your appointment time.

Room access closes 10 minutes after your booking starts, so there’s enough time for your tan without holding up the next client. Running late? Just get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

When you sign up to book online, you’ll be asked for photo ID. This keeps our studios safe and means your purchases can only be used by you.

Usually 5–7 days, depending on your skin and how you care for it. Moisturising daily helps your tan last and fade evenly.

Weekly: your first 4 weeks ($119.80) are paid when you join, then $29.95 is charged each week. 2-month minimum.

Fortnightly and Monthly: your first month is paid when you join, then billing continues monthly. 3-month minimum.

Every membership includes both studios. Life gets busy? You can request to pause your membership for up to one month in the app.

Yes, many women continue to tan during pregnancy. We do recommend checking with your doctor first.

Changing your appointment is easy. Cancel up to 30 minutes before your booking and you won’t lose your session, then simply rebook a new time that suits you. This also gives someone else the chance to take your spot.

Tip: check your new time is available before you cancel.

Late cancellations and missed appointments may forfeit the session. Running late or stuck in traffic? Just get in touch and we’ll always do our best to help.

Once your minimum term is complete, cancelling is easy:

1. Open the app and go to Memberships.

2. Tap Cancel to send us your request.

3. We’ll confirm once it’s done. Please allow 7 days’ notice before your next payment.

If you cancel during your minimum term, the remaining payments for that term still apply. Payments already processed aren’t refundable.

Yes. For your safety, our entry and common areas are monitored by security cameras. There are no cameras in the tanning rooms, so your tan is completely private. Our doors also detect if more than one person enters on a single check-in.
